Coronavirus: May 21 update

Hello SAA families,

We’re sorry to report that we’re going to have to close the books on all attempts to play any SAA spring sports. It isn’t a message we want to deliver, but we feel like we have exhausted our options and we want to remove the ambiguity for all of you.

Why? Given the parameters put forward by government authorities for youth sports to resume play in the future, we realize that the window is too narrow and the requirements too impractical to execute programs in May, June or July. In early June we will provide an update on potential refund opportunities and related procedures for various spring programs.

So, it is time to turn the page and start looking ahead to the next sports season. We hope that your kids will be able to join us for 2020 fall and winter programs. Now is the perfect time to register at springfiedaa.org for soccer, field hockey, basketball, volleyball and wrestling. Teams will be forming soon!
