THE 2012 FIELD HOCKEY PROGRAM WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATION SOON.
BE PREPARED TO PLAY WITH A STICK, MOUTHGUARD, SHINGUARDS,
AND CLEATS OR SNEAKERS.
GOGGLES ARE OPTIONAL
MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE MAY WANT TO TRY THEM FOR HS
This Clinic is designed to implement
the instruction of girl's field hockey
and have FUN while learning !!!
The Clinic Will Include:
Group Stretching and Running,
Drills, Positioning, Plays, Rules,
Team-Building Games, Scrimmages,
and several OCTOBER "PLAY DAYS" with local Youth Clubs

When and Where is the Clinic Program:
The Field Hockey Clinic Program is on SUNDAYS. We will be located at the fields behind the Springfield Football Stadium at Springfield High School. WE HAVE PLAYDAYS IN OCTOBER WITH OTHER YOUTH CLUBS You will be notified on the front page of this website for cancellations/rescheduling due to weather.
Who Can Play:
Girls 3rd thru 8th grade, registered with the SAA. (Please e-mail the Program Director should your child not be registered or indicated to play field hockey).
What to Wear:
Sneakers or Cleats (you do not need to buy new cleats for this program), a comfortable tee shirt (an SAA field hockey tee shirt will be given to each girl during the program), comfortable shorts (Please - No Tank Tops).
What to Bring:
Field Hockey Stick, Shinguards, Mouthpiece, and Water GOGGLES ARE OPTIONAL AT THIS LEVEL. (MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE MAY WANT TO TRY USING TO GET USE TO THEM FOR HS).
Who are the Coaches:
The current Springfield Varsity and JV Field Hockey Teams, bringing their valuable and enthuastic experience, will be coaching under the direction of the Program Director and/or Supporting Adult Staff.
