" Try-Outs:
o April/May - Check the website or Springfield Press for specific
dates/times.
o Girls must be registered w/ the SAA to try-out.
o Girls must attend two out of three try-outs.
o Must bring the following paperwork to the first try-out:
" Copy of original birth certificate w/ raised seal (New
Players Only).
" EPYSA Medical Release form (www.epysa.org).
" EPYSA RG-6 Participant Registration Form (www.epysa.org)
" Current school photo to be used for player passcard.
" Travel fees:
o Collected at first try-out attended.
o $80.00 per player covers SAA fee, banquet fee, Columbus Day
Tournament fee.
" Eligible birth dates: Born Between:
U9: 8/1/99 - 7/31/00 U10: 8/1/98 - 7/31/99
U11: 8/1/97 - 7/31/98 U12: 8/1/96 - 7/31/97
U13: 8/1/95 - 7/31/96 U14: 8/1/94 - 7/31/95
U15: 8/1/93 - 7/31/94
" Timeline:
o April / Early May: Try-outs, paperwork & travel fee collected.
o Mid-May: Notification of try-out results & team placement.
o April / June: PAGS & EPYSA Club registration.
o June 30th: PAGS Divisional placements Posted.
o August 1st: PAGS Fall 2008 schedule released. (estimate)
o Late July / August: Practices start per coach's schedule.
" Typically twice per week.
o September: Games begin & run thru mid-Nov.
" Typically once per week.
" U9's-U10's typically play on Saturday.
" U11 & above typically play on Sunday.
o October 11th -12th: Columbus Day Weekend Tournament
o January 2009: Girls' Travel Soccer Banquet
